Review :

Slimy creature feature mindlessness

Despite being unoriginal and in fact bringing nothing to the table to entertain anyone other than creature feature addicts and possibly huge Tom Sizemore fans, Bottom Feeder still about passes muster. The creature is pretty cool, a sort of bloody looking half man half rat type beast, that likes to eat people. It gets in some pretty cool attacks, with a spot of reasonable gore here and there, not huge amounts but enough to keep the gore fiend in me from getting too bored. The acting is about average, with Tom Sizemore especially convincing as the weary hero, although I think the weariness may not have been acting, judging by some of the comments about the making of this film. The only serious problem, apart from the lack of originality is the lighting, its so freakin dark in this movie that its sometimes hard to figure whats going on. Still, complaints aside, monster lovers could do a lot worse than this movie.
