look funny at first, but...

I have to say, I love Réal Béland. I love his TV show called Au-delà du Réal, but he probably shoud have stayed at this level. The movie "Nos voisins dhantsu" is bad. To begin with the not-so-funny title: nos voisins dhantsu, which means "our neighbors from below". Then, you start seeing it. You'll laugh at the beginning, let's say for fifteen minutes, and then you start pretty soon to yawn, for the rest of the film. And by the way the ending is just pathetic. Maybe I'm not the kind of guy who's gonna laugh at this kind of jokes but, OK, the hockey game in the middle of the street is pretty cool, but when the guy went to the place where japs sleep in some kind of small holes in the wall and then he just wake some guy up, I just didn't laugh. I even find this scene disrespectful because the Japanese are known to be very nice and respectful of others. Anyway, globally, this comedy if a total failure in my opinion and is not making Québec any better in films. Sadly.
